Website launch!

Starting off the new year with a new website!

It has been in the works for the majority of last year. Compared to the previous website, there are a few additional perks and features:

• We are now free of the shackles of web hosters, as the website’s code and all content resides on GitHub, allowing full customizability and extensibility
• Load times and transfer size has been dramatically reduced, as the website is statically built with Hugo
• Hosting costs are dramatically reduced as we switched to AWS Amplify for static website hosting
• A new posts section (“News” and “Tutorials”), which will be populated with the latest and greatest of our group’s work
• Publications can now be searched and filtered by publication type and year
• Last but not least: Light and dark mode with automatic header logo and theme switching when your OS switches its theme!!
